Now that you are dressed to impress, it’s time to wheel.
Whether you are interested in one of the bridesmaids or a regular wedding guest, it’s important to be respectful and play it cool. That being said, try not to focus all of your attention and time on one person. You’re not a predator waiting on your prey to take them down and feast. You need to mingle and look approachable. Have fun, and be social!
If you have a mutual friend, get them to introduce you to people. If not, you have to man up and go talk to them yourself. When you do spark a conversation, try not to use a creepy or degrading pick up line. If you’re going to use a pick up line it has to be good; it’s all about the delivery. Maybe sneak in a joke while you’re at it. Here’s one you can try: “I’d love to buy you a drink from the open bar”. Obviously this one can only work if there is an open bar. If the newlyweds are cheapskates then go for the, “Can I buy you a drink?” approach. Who says no to a free drink?
You should also probably go easy on the booze. It makes you sleepy and you’ll get beer goggles. Need I say more?
Now, about the dance floor; women like men who know how to have fun. You won’t get a female’s attention by just standing around at the bar. This is where women will be, out on the dance floor and having fun. So, get on up and start dancing and actually enjoy yourself. You will see that your fun energy will attract others.
At the end of the celebrations, figure out what the plans are. Is there an after-party, and is she going? Is she staying at a hotel? Did she carpool with someone? These are things you need to figure out to see where you might end up. Try and go to where she is heading. If she doesn’t have a set destination, see if she wants continue the night and hang with you (this hang, might be a potential bang). Even if the night is over, the connection doesn’t have to be. Tell her you had a great time with her, and would like to see her again. Most importantly, get her number!
That’s all I got for tips. Did I miss anything? Good luck friends, and remember to dress to the nines, to get that perfect 10.
